• Wild, creative, vibrant, brave, intelligent, strong willed, independent, and resilient – Lenore is always aware. Wide-eyed and intuitive, like a deer surveying treacherous woods. A preacher’s daughter with tomboy tendencies, forced into pink dresses and long tousled hair that frames her angelic face. Raised in a renowned mountain orphanage, Lenore yearns for the normal life of a 1950’s teenager, outside her father’s relentless control. Painting is her only solace. Nature, her only religion. Lenore is out of place with her orphan siblings, and the other teens in town. She searches for freedom and identity, as her father’s devious crimes shatter her world and everyone in it.
