Anjini Taneja Azhar, a critically acclaimed actor, director, and producer, who also happens to be one of our favorite clients, is casting for the lead role in her upcoming film, Who Are You, Nanu? The award winning script is set to be shot this Spring in India!

Plot Synopsis: After her grandfather’s (Nanu’s) ceremonial cremation brings her to the Ganges River in India, eight year-old oddball Aisha befriends the phantom of her Nanu’s own rambunctious eight year-old self and discovers the journey after death.

AISHA

• Girl – MUST BE of South-Asian descent
• Aisha is a pip-squeak of a girl. She is quieter, contemplative, and an oddball. While she is mature for her age, she is still an adventurous child at heart. She has a nervous tick where she can’t help but smile when she experiences grief—a nuance she overcomes through her adventures with the ghost of her grandfather.

• This is for a paid booking ($250.00/day, minus 20% agency fee; Travel expenses to India will also be paid!)
• You and a Parent MUST be available to travel to the Mumbai & Varanasi areas of INDIA for the Film Shoot, April 24-May 1, 2024 (ALL DATES)
• In-Person Callbacks will be held in the Seattle, WA area on Sunday, March 24, 2024!
