• A bright-eyed, happy kid who never wants to grow up. As an only child, his favorite thing is to be part of a team. And he’ll do anything to keep the team together.

KATIE

• Girl
• Age: 11
• A no-nonsense bookworm type who applies her intellect to the science of romance. She presents herself with a hard exterior in order to guard the soft heart within. She and Ollie are just friends, unless you count that one night at camp.

TREVOR

• Boy
• Age: 10
• A goofy neighborhood kid for whom no dream is too big and no scheme too wild. His adventures seldom work out as planned, but he does not let that dampen his enthusiasm. Ollie’s best friend.

ROLES FOR ADULTS

OSKAR

• Male
• Age: 40-45
• Ollie’s wise and weary dad. His head-down, hard-working ways have made him successful in every area of life except marriage.

NOREEN

• Female
• Age: 35-40
• Ollie’s sweet and stressed mom. Life has taken her where she did not expect to go and she’s determined to get things back on track. If this means making hard choices, she’s willing to do it.

GRANDPA

• Male
• Age: 65-75
• A witty wise-cracker whose favorite target is his long-suffering wife. Unquestionably loyal to all he calls family, even when they wish he’d just go away. Noreen’s father.

GRANDMA

• Female
• Age: 65-70
• The other half of the ‘Dysfunctional Duo’. 45 years of battle (aka marriage) have seasoned her into one tough old lady. But she does it all with a smile. Noreen’s mother.

CHRISTMAS TREE (VOICE OVER) – A sultry siren skilled in seduction. MUST be able to sing!
