JANE WOODSEN

• Woman
• 18+ to play a college freshman
• white
• A sociology major with an endearing girl next door quality, Jane just wants to fit in. She thought college would be different than her awkward teenage years but with her popular new roommate, it seems Jane will forever be the “sidekick.” She’s a people pleaser with a tendency to babble when she’s nervous – especially around the school’s star athlete she secretly has a huge crush on. As the school year goes on, Jane grows more confident and self-assured – because behind the nervous façade, Jane is truly cool. Her job on the campus concerts committee has given her a deep knowledge of all things music. By the end of the season, she realizes she doesn’t need to reinvent herself. She just needs to stop seeing herself as someone else’s “plus one”.
